What Teachers Are Saying:
Thank you for the opportunity to participate in your courses. They were AMAZING! I have not felt such satisfaction from completing PD in a long time.
I am a 4th grade teacher in Southeast D.C. I love how adaptable this program is and they actually listen to feedback and make changes almost immediately. I have been able to express concerns or interests and find it implemented in the following week’s lesson. This has been the most responsive program I have EVER done.
This program has really helped me to build my skillset to teach phonics to upper elementary since there are huge learning gaps I see on a day to day basis. I feel way more confident now in my ability to teach and identify phonics gaps.
I HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone looking to gain more insight about foundational learning skills and the Science of Reading.
Thank you so much again and I look forward to taking more classes!
This was an awesome course. As an Early Childhood educator, writing is often a topic of discussion when trying to figure out ways to improve our students’ overall literacy instruction.
Many districts do not provide an explicit writing program to support the students and teachers. This course, however, did an amazing job of breaking down writing at every stage and making it accessible for both students and teachers. Thanks for the expertise shared.
Highly recommend for others!
I have thoroughly enjoyed every single part of this course. It was very clear, concise and had the most applicable exercises. I loved that the quiz happened at the end of each section. I also appreciated that the instructor responded to some of the comments in the discussion section.
The best thing about Literacy Masterminds is learning the science and the WHY behind everything we were learning. Having the tools and deliverables to immediately implement and do the work with our students has been so helpful. I would absolutely recommend Literacy Masterminds to a colleague who wanted to grow in their understanding and practice of teaching kids how to read!
